The first line of defense is nutrition! Here's a vitamin-antioxidant packed powerhouse drink to defend against cold season: 1 cup spinach, 2 oranges (1 whole 1 juiced) 1 lemon juiced, 2 inch piece of fresh turmeric root, 2 inch piece of fresh ginger root, 1 banana, 1 handful frozen pineapple chunks, 1 handful frozen mango chunks + water & blend=awesomeness! Serves 2.
*I used a Nutri-Bullet, but any high- speed blender will do.
